New Delhi The third season of Celebrity Cricket League(CCL)
is ready to start with an epic encounter between Mumbai Heroes and
Kerala Strikers on Saturday. The Bollywood’s popular film stars will be
up against the film actors from Mollywood(Kerala).
The mix of cricket and film stars will be at its peak as Bollywood
superstar Salman Khan is likely to make an appearance at the Kochi
stadium. Salman Khan is a supporter of Mumbai Heroes - a team owned by
his brother Sohail Khan.
One of the popular actors in Mollywood, Mohan Lal, is the captain of
Kerala Strikers and Lissy Priyadarshan is the owner of the team.
Mollywood actresses Mamta Mohandas and Bhavana are the brand ambassadors
of the team.
The Kerala Strikers is comprised of strong players including
Indrajith(wk/vc) and Rajeev Pillai. The all-rounders Saju Kurup and
Vivek Gopan will be the key players for Kerala Strikers.
The Mumbai Heroes is led by Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty alongside
Aftab Shivdasani as vice-captain. The team is owned by Bollywood star
Sohail Khan. Bollywood actresses Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh and
Kangana Ranaut are the brand ambassadors of Mumbai Heroes.
Suniel Shetty-led Mumbai Heroes is also blessed with match-winning
players including Shabir Ahluwalia and Aftab Shivdasani. The opening
pair Sunny Singh and Varun Badola will be the key players for Mumbai
Heroes.
